About the space:
[TK] Cottage is located in Woodstock, New York and is perfect for writers, artists, and other creative people. Furnished and beautifully decorated, there’s a yard with a stream, and is just a short walk to town.
Downstairs there’s a roomy living area, full galley kitchen, walk out to screened-in porch and backyard. Upstairs there’s a bedroom with vaulted ceiling, mountain view, king-sized bed, and a fabulous bathroom with claw foot tub and hand shower, plus a very inspiring mural done by a local artist.
Right at the edge of town, the cottage is a few minutes’ walk to everything Woodstock offers, including restaurants, bars, shops, local independent bookstore, organic supermarket, beer garden, Farmer’s Market on Wednesdays, Mower’s Flea Market on weekends, and our famous Drum Circle on the Village Green every Sunday. Drive to Big Deep swimming hole for a dip, Comeau Property or Overlook Mountain to hike, or walk on the rail trail along the Ashokan Reservoir. The nearby Woodstock School of Art offers a variety of workshops and classes. The Golden Notebook Bookstore hosts author events weekly. Near skiing, hiking, and many music venues.
About renting:
The cottage is suitable for two people maximum. The space is not safe for children, as there is an open railing at the top of the stairs.
